Since the opening of our Indonesian restaurant Sumatra in Dunaszerdahely, our most popular dish is called Satay Ayam. It has been so successful in recent weeks that the restaurant management decided to add it to the menu. This Indonesian speciality is a grilled chicken breast on a stick, cut into small cubes and topped with a marinated peanut sauce. The finished dish is then smoked, as the Indonesians traditionally do, with shavings of coconut shells, which give the dish an inimitable flavour. Technology:Ingredients for Satay Ayam:150 grams of chicken breast (for 6 sticks)Ingredients for the marinated peanut sauce:red onion, garlic, palm sugar, chilli pepper, lime, sweet soy sauce, peanutsPreparation. Then prepare the peanut sauce by mixing the above ingredients thoroughly. Pour the marinated peanut sauce over the chicken breasts, cover and smoke with a ´´handsmoker´´ (coconut peel and skin).
